Priorities Victory Fund

Beginning in 2025, an average of $20.5 million per school may be set aside annually for athletes. This will have a far-reaching impact on college sports and make donor programs more vital than ever. As a result of the new regulations, the Name, Image & Likeness (NIL) model will evolve as well, requiring greater transparency and compliance. Cultivating and securing these opportunities will help UM recruit and retain top talent, allowing us to build and sustain an elite roster of student-athletes in all major sports.

Donors can fuel this vital cause through our newly launched Victory Fund, which will enable UM to attract the best possible student-athletes in the nation. Canes Connection will continue to assist this effort by allowing athletes to monetize their name, image, and likeness within the new settlement guidelines. Contributions to the Victory Fund and supporters with an interest in marketing partnerships will be critical in keeping UM as the premier destination for top-tier talent in the coming years.
